As one of the first luxury beachfront all-suite resorts in Turks & Caicos, we are proud of our long history of delivering memorable Caribbean vacations to visitors from around the world. We are also proud of our commitment to value. Our surprisingly affordable rates have kept sun seekers coming back to us year after year to enjoy our prime beachfront location, friendly hospitality and first class amenities.
Royal West Indies benefits from being situated centrally in the popular Grace Bay Beach area. Just a short drive from Providenciales Airport, our five-and-a-half acre property provides a lush tropical sanctuary complete with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. You’ll be welcomed by a staff that will cater to your every need from the moment you arrive.
Once checked in and relaxed with a welcome tropical fruit punch, you’ll discover the comfort of our spacious studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. Decorated in a classic colonial Caribbean style, they offer full kitchens and living/dining areas that are ideal for family and friends to use as a base for enjoying the Turks and Caicos. All of our suites feature spacious outdoor patios to enjoy the soothing tropical breezes that sweep off the gentle seas just a few steps from your room.
The Royal West Indies experience is centered around our beachfront location, along a stretch of beach voted the Best in the World. Enjoy the brilliant soft white sands and mesmerizing turquoise waters of Princess Alexandra National Park that fronts our resort. Beach chairs, loungers, umbrellas, as well as a variety of water toys – Hobie Cats and kayaks – are available for your use, and beachside showers and fluffy towels enhance the beach experience. Rejuvenate yourself in our gin clear waters, and watch for schools of colorful tropical fish, conch, starfish, the occasional turtle and sting way, and even a visit from JoJo, our resident bottle-nose dolphin.
Grace Bay Beach and the waters of the Turks and Caicos are ideal for all types of waters sports. Scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, fishing, water skiing, sail boarding, kite boarding - to name a few - are readily available from our property, with professional operators and instructors waiting to host you.
Once off the beach, lounge in one of our sprawling free form pools or relax in one of the many pool side nooks with a book from our well-stocked lobby library. Or enjoy a cool drink or tasty meal at Pelican Bay Restaurant, the hub of RWI social life and a popular spot for residents and visitors alike. Serving an eclectic and multi-culture-inspired range of dishes, Pelican Bay is delightful for a casual drink, a romantic dinner for two, or for groups and families of all sizes to gather. It features indoor and outdoor poolside seating, and a welcoming open air bar.
To help you unwind further still, we can even arrange for a relaxing massage, manicure or other spa service right in your room. What better way to end a grueling day on the beach than a rejuvenating Swedish massage!
